Save The Youth is a community of artists working to engage with at-risk, under privileged youth in the world of art. Our goal is to encourage the youth to get involved in the various avenues of art in hopes of a better future.
In 1999, a study found that nearly 1.7 million children were either homeless or living in shelters. In 2016, around 41% (29.8 million) children in America were living on the brink of poverty. In 2017, the U.S. Census Bureau found that 19.7 million children are living in fatherless homes.
A strong family and family structure is needed and essential to a child's future. Without it, they will face obstacles. History shows that some of the most creative and influential people went through the toughest of times. We strongly think that everyone has a talent they are not aware of. If there was a place for children to learn, express, and share their ideas/creations, we believe we would see a big difference in not only America, but in the world.
